Obituary for Mary T. Ross (Durgin)

Mary T. (Durgin) Ross, 86, of Nashua, passed away peacefully at Southern NH Medical Center on September 2, 2013 with her family at her side.
She was born in Lowell, MA on July 22, 1927, a daughter of the late Bertrand and Mary (McNamara) Durgin. She grew up in Lowell and was educated in Lowell.
Mrs. Ross was the widow of Alexander Ross, who died in 1994. They shared over 12 years of marriage
She is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Mrs. Ross loved to spend time with her family and friends. She had a generous spirit, who is fondly remembered as “Mrs. Santa Claus” and known for beginning her shopping for the next year on December 26th. She was a fan of the Patriots and Red Sox, and she liked watching golf.
Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Gail Kluck.
Her surviving family includes her children, Joseph Kluck of Chelmsford, Michael Kluck and his wife Brenda of Lowell, MA, Richard Ross and his life partner Steve Campbell of York, ME, Debra Ross and her life partner Joan Claprood of Charlton, MA, Paul Ross and his wife Cindy of Bow, NH, Scott Ross and his wife Corrine of Belmont, NH, Julie Marston and her husband Ken of Hudson, Bill Ross and his wife, Kit of New London, NH and Marie Nelson of Nashua; her brother Bertrand Durgin of Lowell; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a niece, Mary McCarthy and a nephew, John Durgin.
SERVICES: A Memorial Funeral Service will be held at the DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, One Lock St., Nashua on Saturday morning, September 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Her family will receive guests beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday until the time of the service. Interment prayers and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua.
